Aqua (Water)
Use: Filler
Water is the main ingredient in most beauty products, this provides hydration and prevents the cream from being too thick and oily. We use reverse osmosis water in our products, so all bacteria and chemicals (such as iron, calcium, fluoride, etc.) are removed to give a purer form of water which is amazing for producing a clean product. All our water is tested for any bacteria and contamination.

Zinc Oxide (Non-Nano)
Use: UV active ingredient
Zinc is a naturally occurring mineral and when combined with oxygen molecules it simply forms Zinc Oxide. This natural mineral provides a high level of broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays, in fact it is the highest performing active-ingredient (sun protection) for use in sunscreen.
Zinc Oxide (Non-Nano) is also a 100% human safe ingredient as it does not absorb into or through the skin into your bloodstream. Instead Zinc Oxide helps form a protective layer on top of your skin that protects you against damaging radiation from the sun. Zinc Oxide (Non-Nano) cannot be absorbed by, nor do damage to coral reefs. Therefore, the best active ingredient to use when going in the ocean or coral reefs is a natural Zinc Oxide based sunscreen.
Other benefits include treating rashes and sunburn, locking moisture into the skin, helps prevent skin aging, and is somewhat anti-bacterial.
